After a picturesque 20-minute ferry boat ride from Puerto Juarez in Cancun, you will arrive in the port of Isla Mujeres, which is just a short cab ride (or a 7 minute walk) through the colorful streets of Isla Mujeres. The Hotel is a contemporary 5 story building with ample balconies that overlook the pool, beach and ocean. Its design is modern and stylish, yet friendly, and emphasizes large windows that allow the exterior to be appreciated at all times. During the evening hours a colorful lighting system illuminates the building in a series of changing colors, which create a magical atmosphere. The building’s western orientation affords memorable sunsets on a daily basis.

The 48 rooms at Ixchel are available in two bedroom suites, one bedroom suites and standard rooms with pent-house, ocean front, ocean view or garden view categories.
The suites have a master bedroom with king size bed, separate dining & living room (one futon), balcony and are equipped with cable TV, DVD player, direct dialing telephone, internet wireless, marble bathrooms, shower, hair dryer, safety deposit box, full equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster & microwave. The two bedroom suites also feature a guest room with two double beds.
The Standard rooms have two single beds and are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, DVD player, direct dialing telephone, internet wireless, marble bathroom, shower, hair dryer & safety deposit box.
All penthouse suites include a breathtaking spacious roof garden overlooking the Mexican Caribbean. The roof gardens feature jacuzzis, marble bathroom, shower and a lounging area. |
